Annual Seminar Sponsorship
Each year we look for a small number of companies to sponsor the Libraries Connected Annual Seminar, which is our flagship event and a highlight of the public library calendar.
The Annual Seminar is a two-day event aimed at Heads of Service and is a great opportunity to connect with senior managers from public libraries. Through a prgramme of speeches, presentations, panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities, we aim to share good practice taking place within public libraries both here and abroad, challenge current thinking, and identify potential opportunities for the library services going forward. The Libraries Connected Awards are also presented at a ceremony on the first night of the Seminar.
The event is usually attended by over 130 library leaders from across the UK, as well as representatives from our national partner organisations such as the Department of Culture Media and Sport, Arts Council England, The British Library, The Reading Agency, and CILIP.
Below is an example of the sponsorship packages available, although they may vary slightly from year to year.
Showcase Package
- A table at the sponsor's showcase, where you can talk directly with delegates throughout the two days.
- Sponsor’s reception with drinks and canapes at the end of day one when delegates will be encouraged to visit the sponsor's showcase.
- Your company description and logo in the seminar e-brochure which will be available on our website and emailed to delegates in advance of the event.
- Recognition of sponsorship and logo on the sponsor’s presentation slide which will be shown in the main room between sessions over the two days.
- Lunch and refreshments for two representatives.
- Two places at the seminar dinner, where you can network with delegates.
Dinner Package
- Sponsorship of the seminar dinner acknowledged by a note on each table and a thank you announcement from the CEO or President.
- Your company description and logo in the seminar e-brochure which will be available on our website and emailed to delegates in advance of the event.
- Recognition of sponsorship and logo on the sponsor’s presentation slide which will be shown in the main room between sessions over the two days.
- Two places at the seminar (including lunch and refreshments) where you can listen to speakers and talk to delegates.
- Two places at the seminar dinner, where you can network with delegates.
Flash Film
- A ‘flash film’ slot (up to 5 minutes) during the main programme providing the opportunity to showcase your product to the entire conference.
- Your company description and logo in the seminar e-brochure which will be available on our website and emailed to delegates in advance of the event.
- Recognition of sponsorship and logo on the sponsor’s presentation slide which will be shown in the main room between sessions over the two days.
