New training module for Culture and Creativity Offer commissioned

Libraries Connected have appointed Creative Arts East to develop a new culture and creativity online learning module for library staff across England.

Creative Arts East is an arts and community development charity committed to bringing the very best arts and cultural activities to rural and/or under-engaged audiences in the eastern region.

The new module will support library staff to programme, commission and evaluate culture and creative activities and will be hosted via our Learning Pool platform.

Libraries Connected’s Universal Library Offers include a Culture and Creativity Offer which recognises the importance of enabling communities across the country to participate in high quality and inspiring cultural activity for learning, empathy and wellbeing.

This new training module is a vital part of our package of support to help library staff to deliver this offer.
