Our Regional Development programme provides tailored support to the nine regional Libraries Connected networks in England, helping them increase their sustainability, resilience and capacity to deliver large scale regional projects. The support provided to each regional network reflects their specific needs but could include assistance with income generation, strategic planning, business development or governance.

Arts Council England has provided a grant of £450,000 for three years, ending in 2026, with an additional grant of £90,000 from The Combined Regions. The funding has supported Libraries Connected to appoint a regional development team, and provided a grant for each region to help kick start strategic projects.
