Libraries Connected hosted a webinar on 25 January with guest speakers from Hospice UK, focused on Dying Matters. The webinar included an introduction to the Dying Matters campaign, an overview of the Dying Matters Community Grants programme and plans for Dying Matters Week 2022. There were opportunities to share ideas for events and activities from a library service perspective.

Our speakers were all from Hospice UK. They are Imogen Thomas, Senior Campaign and Content Manager, Charlie King, Head of Communications and Engagement, and Ruby Wroe, Marketing and Campaigns Officer.

The webinar was aimed at all library staff with a particular interest in death positive libraries. It supports Dying Matters Week and those who might be considering applying to the Dying Matters Community Grants Programme which is currently open for applications.
